green and pleasant
Our wisteria has grown so much with all this rain in New England, it has 'eaten' the cheap gothic metal arbor.

Idea-searching google for "wisteria arbor", I found this amazing artist's home! Inspirational.

we haven't been able to stain the new fence for weeks, no dry weekends

climbing hydrangea is very happy

Finny, not so much

side yard still needs shade plantings!

bittersweet threatens a takeover

I grew up with morning glories and I miss them so! They've been outlawed here for some reason or another but I once saw some growing in someone's yard and I was very tempted to ask them for seeds! ha ha.

Wow...that inspiration house is breathtaking!

I always love it when an artist uses their home as an extension of their art. I especially love the Tree of Good and Evil mural, and the entrance to the grotto, with deer antler handles.

And your bittersweet is just gorgeous!!

Beauteous! I think it has been a banner year for wisteria. The wisteria on the colannade in Central Park here in the 'ville bloomed for the first time this year, as did ours. And a patch on Fourth St. bloomed, twice!

That studio...oh my goddess. What a dream come true!

This so soothes my ruffled feathers...your lovely garden and Fin even with his sad, puppy dog eyes. Give him a kiss for me.

And oh, how I want to bunk with the bunnies in the "rabbit hutch" in the incredible link you provided.

Thanks for posting the link! The grotto and garden follies are truly amazing!

And I think your arbour looks lovely. I'm way too far south to grow wisteria here, but looking at other peoples' pictures is always a delight.

Your yard is lovely! We had almost two months of solid rain, but now it's hot and very dry. Seems like it's either one extreme or the other.

In the inspiration garden, the cement mural of the tree is stunning!
