Good eye. I wouldn't be suprised if she was actually a visual inspiration. It might sound weird but I personally think that Blade Runner has the feeling of a Pre-Raphaelite painting; just change the setting from romanticized history to dystopian future.

this is so true! this movie is my big ex's before ex-husband favourite movie and the only version i have seen is the director's cut. i think that sean young was just gorgeous and really wonderful in this movie and yes, i loved it when she stopped looking so "robot perfect" and let her down(loved her clothes too!). i love your comparisons!
