Happy Birthday to [info]superfin!

My other half had a birthday today, and we have been celebrating all weekend with great dinners out and lots of down time with the beasts. Last night a friend came over and we had such a hard time deciding which 'on demand' movie we were in the mood to watch, that we ended up spending nearly an hour just watching previews. Finally decided on something that provoked much nostalgia for all of us.

The cat was still fabulous, but the movie itself was best left in the good memory zone.

Thanks to [info]_siddal_ for bringing this preview into my view: The Fox and the Child. Looks lovely.

Dear Jen and Ed,

Wasn't there a Disney movie called something like "Inwardly Contorted Wanna-Be Pre-Raphs who look and sound exactly like Harold and Maude from Outer Space"?

:D

Happy birthday to all!

I loved that movie, cute cat with the glowing collar. Sounds like it's best I don't see it again.

Oh thank you, It's connected to a short graphic novel that one of these days I'll get to finish.
Inspired by German expressionist film with a girl and her siamese twin siamese cat.

Oh gosh...I haven't seen that movie since I was....6? 8? I totally forgot about it :)

Happy birthday to Mr. Relic! Ok, perhaps not the best nickname for him ;)

Oh, just look at your boys (doing a waltz perhaps?)
Glad the celebrations lasted the entire weekend. You'd better rest up for Thursday!

glad you all had a fun celebration! oh my god! the cat from outer space was my favorite movie! i made tons of art about it as a kid and was convinced my gray barn cat daniel was from outer space. i was thinking i should never see it again as it would ruin the memories for me. i learned that by watching "escape from witch mountain" and "land of the lost" as an adult! can't wait for the Fox and the Child movie!
