I can't wait to hear all about your visit with Lisa!! And Merle's art is just so sweet, isn't it?
Love the new space...I'll have to drool over that website you linked to later :)
Sidney = love
We will get into loads of trouble, I'm sure ;)
I want to visit the house I linked to someday, it's on my ever-growing list of "must see"'s!
Squeeze the Sid, hopefully in October.
Merle is kind of awesome. She did Athena some kind of justice. =)
She certainly is and did!
Leaves me rather teary eyed since it looks so much like Sushi, and his recent passing has not left my mind yet. I am also an AVID collector of winged cats (hence the name of my company, the winged cat, designs by salems mom)....LOVE LOVE LOVE your pics, especially the one at the feeding station. Have a wonderful time with Lisa..hey have a couple of margaritas for me, im still on that crappy diet.
I know, they are so alike. Siamese are so fascinating, they have a whole other facet to their personalities it seems. Merle is amazing, I am very lucky to have a growing collection of her art.
Lisa and I will definitely have a toast in your honor !
Lovely pics!
I adore the ones of your cats... they did such wonderful work.
Cats are such curious creatures. :D
Thank you!
Is that Andy from SNL? I adore him, he always cracks me up.
Merle is so sweet and that is a beautiful tribute. I love the pictures of the room, you have a talent for decorating. Hope that Finny is OK, he seems like such a friend! Did the tourmaline arrive? And have a safe and wonderful trip!
Such lovely pictures. It's so cute to see the pets lined up. How many dogs & cats do you have? I know you had at least two cats.
Your LJ/website always makes my eyes happy. Especially needed now that I'm in that "mud season" slump awaiting fresh air into my psyche!
Please take many many pictures to share of your trip to see our dearest heart. We want vicarious thrills! :-)
The portrait of Athena is beautiful - a very thoughtful and special remembrance.
The animal pictures are so cute. Your new closet space is off to a great start. I love the stencils.
Have a wonderful time visiting with Lisa.
What an array of wonderful pictures! The portrait of Athena is beautiful. What a lovely gift. And the line up at the water bowl - too cute!
Enjoy your trip to visit Lisa. Maybe we can have a phone conference while you're there??
xo, Lisa (in NY)
I cannot wait either! Supposed to be in the high 50s next week and no rain. Or snow.
Cute critters and love Merle's portraits. Amazing how she captures them so well. Will be thinking about Finny. Is this appt. after you return home?
And I LOVE the dressing room - it has a totally different feel and space. I can help you fill up the closet. With velvet!
Very pretty portraits and nice pictures of your home happenings. I miss you guys...Bonnie La Choppe and that big lug Sidney and all! Seems like it's been FOREVER. I hope you have a beautiful and relaxing holiday away!
i am so glad you like Athena's portrait! it looks great framed and next to Bone and the little "Swan". Athena speaks to me on so many levels-siamese, greek, all close to my heart for sure.
your new closet/dressing area is amazing! i love the persian look! you need a wonderful old dressing table filled with perfume bottles and jems! love those red curtains!
love the photos of the demon dogs! and of finny and bonny. wishing finny all the best with his teeth! hard stuff, just repeat, "a good dog parent does this..." over and over. i love finny so much and need to meet him! and what can i say about sidney? love! glastonbury likes to hide behid my computer because it is warm. he is so teeny though but has long legs like he is on stilts! he weighs like 8 pounds- little littles!
wishing you and missy medieval all the fun and creativity you can fit in to one weekend! wish i could be there for sure! if missy medieval snorts, falls down, trips, or something comes out her nose i must know!
