Oh, so beautiful! I wish I'd been able to make it, but I shall at the very least buy you a drink sometime soon:)
(I wore Willow all weekend and your work was oohed and aaahed over as it should be:))
Maybe next year you can join us?! I would love to toast with you.
Glad Willow was appreciated, you wear her well ;)
The stalls all look wonderful (especially yours!) and so do the costumes!
thank you! I forgot to take a picture of the most beautiful booth, Renae Taylor's! Luckily someone else did :)
these photos are great jen! your booth was amazing(the relics-oh, i would have fainted!), the costumes- you girls all looked so gorgeous! i really hope i can make it next year. would love to try to get out to faerieworlds too! thanks for sharing these!
thank you! hope you can make it next year too.
Thanks for posting these and it was such a wonderful experience! Your booth looked so magical and inviting.
you are welcome! can't wait to see yours posted! thanks to your pinning prowess, the booth fringe looked great! and all the rest of your help!
Wonderful! Thanks so much for posting those! All of you look amazing :-)
And wow, wtf, indeed! I'm sitting here laughing my head off before I have even had breakfast at the scary Guy Fawkes man.
wish you could have been there :)
we saw him from the balcony and were very confused :)
So wonderful! Your booth looks so spectacular and inviting. I have a show in two weeks, and we are only allowed a table...no canopies, so I need to get creative.....the idea of the grapevine wreath and the moss is awesome...i may have to steal that idea!! Your pics are so great, i feel bad we never made it, im only about an hour or so away, i wanted to go so badly. Hopefully next year I will make it, and Pascalbijou will as well...that would be awesome to have a "handful of redheads" together!! By the way, dont know what you put in your hair but the color is awesome...mine looks like that only the first day I do it, then unfortunately fades.....your costumes are just amazing, your post made me happy to see, as Im not in the best of moods right now with my Angels passing. Hope to see you there next year. You rock!!!!
thank you! It is hard when you only have a table, it limits what you can do somewhat. go ahead and steal the grapevine/moss idea...I'm sure I'm not the first anyway :) hope you can come next year also! I'm already planning things in my mind.
the red is a new Feria color, just came out :) has lots of staying power!
so sorry to hear of Angel's passing, I know how hard it can be to lose such a sweet companion.
OMG, what gorgeous costumes! Some day I *have* to go to Faerie Con! :D
please do come! next year :)
how fun. wish we had Feairie con here in NYC...and to see your creations a lovely up close would be son great....
Philly is not so far from NYC!
Oh how I want to be back there already!!
Love the shot of Lisa with the mossy crown. :)
I know the feeling! will you be going next year too? or will you be in Salem!?
Such lovely pictures!!! FaerieCon was so much fun & I'm so glad I came across your booth!!
Thank you! It was great meeting you!
Wow, this is all so beautiful. And I'm always struck by how lovely your hair is, if you don't mind me saying so. :)
don't mind at all :) thank you! I feel good being bright red again, needed a spark for the upcoming winter :)
Oh Holy Moly, Wendy Froud bought your stuff. I would have screamed like a fangirl and passed out.
Your pavilion layout turned out absolutely gorgeously. It's perfect.
You guys all look absolutely gorgeous, and Jen, your hair is so beyond amazing. If I could get my hair to hold a curl like yours, I'd never go straight again.
I know! I nearly did scream and pass out, but they were both so nice and easy to talk to it made it easier to contain myself :)
thank you about the booth, I was really happy with it in the end. setting up in a new area can be stressful!
you see, everyone wants what they don't have. I love straight hair and pay good money to have it that way whenever I can :)
How beautiful! Your booth looks so inviting. And lovely fantastical outfits on everyone! How I wish I could dress like that on a daily basis. (Well, I could but just imagining the looks I'll get at the grocery store!)
I often think the same thing. . . but it seems that clothing like that is not exactly "comfortable" for me. I'd always be fussy with a lacy sleeve or picking up skirts so I didn't trip. I usually toss on stretchy black pants and either a T-shirt or a cotton velvet tunic . . . and then forget about the clothing.
But yeh, I wish. Can you imagine how being swathed in beauty all day would transform our lives? And maybe even the lives of the people gawking at the grocery store!
...so much pretty hair...
I can't believe I didn't take any of you, hopefully Lisa will post hers soon.
That looks like so much fun!! We had tickets to Faerieworlds, but we didn't go. I wish it was indoors like this one.
Sorry you missed Faerieworlds...
funny, I heard many people wishing FaerieCon could be outside, the convention center seemed so cold and vast.
Wow. It looks even better in photos, and I was there. (Well, not there in the photos at the time, but in the general vicinity.) :-)
Lisa got some great shots of you, can't wait to see them on lj, maybe I will steal some to post here too :)
Wow-- it all looks so amazing! I have never been to anything like that, it looks like a blast! Your booth looks magical too!!! I'm thinking in a few years I need to do the booth thing for my art and such...too lovely!
beautiful pictures!~
It was a blast! and a lot of hard work!
Hope you do make it there sometime, I have a feeling I may make it a yearly pilgrimage.
Looks like a wonderful weekend.
Great photos. Everyone's costumes look so beautiful. Such fun!
thank you! I should have got one of you in the booth with your new relics...it was so nice to meet you!
Oh - this makes me so happy! Great pictures! Your booth was definitely one of the best. Can't wait for next year.
I didn't know you had an LJ! :)
Your booth came out great!!!! and you were worried--no need to have been, I see! It looked very inviting and cozy!
The costumes also looked great! yours and all the others I saw from your pictures. A little perplexed by the guys in dress shirts and not costumes--Well shameful!--at a FAERYCON!...wait...were they....? ;)
thank you! sometimes it is hard to visualize something until it is all up in the place and you can add to it as you go along. Lisa helped so much too, she has a great eye.
I like that everyone does their own thing at faeriecon, a little or a lot of costuming, whatever they are comfortable with.
I love your magnificent red hair!! You all look so beautiful and the booth looks amazing. Thanks for sharing--wish I could have made it there.
thanks Jno! Wish you could have joined us too.
Looks like you guys had a blast. Wish I could have gone.
there is always next year!
wonderful to see your work in person. hope to see you in the spring at spoutwood! :)
I have already sent in my application!
I really hope to make it, it sounds/looks like so much fun! Everyone I met from Spoutwood were so lovely, I would hate to wait a whole year to be a part of such things again.
Such wonderful photos! I'm glad you had a good time. It would be hard not to have fun around all the lovely settings and people. :D
It was a great time, I really did feel surrounded by beauty...people and things! |
